Stop Flipping Parts. Stop Losing Margin.
Machining a valve on a standard CNC lathe requires cutting one side, stopping the spindle, un-clamping the heavy hot forging, flipping it, and re-clamping. This destroys concentricity and kills your daily output. APEX SPM designs dedicated valve machines that cut multiple faces simultaneously.
Perfect Concentricity
Single-setup clamping means zero re-fixturing errors. Guarantee absolute alignment between opposing valve sealing faces.
Double Your Output
Simultaneous dual-end or multi-station machining effectively doubles your UPH (Units Per Hour) compared to sequential turning.
Mirror-Finish Sealing
Heavy-duty cast iron beds and precision spindles achieve Ra 1.6–3.2μm finishes, ensuring 100% hydro-test pass rates.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is simultaneous machining better for gate valves?
Gate valves rely on exact angular alignment between the two sealing wedges. If you machine one side, flip the valve, and machine the other side, microscopic clamping errors are introduced, causing leaks during hydro-testing. Our dual-head HC-RTB-25-K machines both sides simultaneously, mathematically guaranteeing perfect concentricity.
What valve materials can your machines process?
Our machines feature high-torque spindles and heavy-duty cast iron beds capable of machining CW617N brass, ductile iron, carbon steel, and SS316/304 stainless steel valve bodies without vibration or chatter.
Can you provide custom fixtures for irregular valve forgings?
Yes. Valve castings and forgings often have raw, irregular exterior shapes. Our engineers design custom hydraulic and pneumatic clamping jaws tailored to your exact 3D models to ensure secure, damage-free clamping during high-speed machining.
