What is this machine used for?
Which work should I discuss?
Describe the turned surfaces, milled features and access needed on your part. The swing diameter, machining diameter, machining length and axis travels are different limits. Assess the complete setup rather than selecting a machine from the largest single number.
Confirm the supplied configuration
Confirm the main spindle speed, tool holders, driven-tool duty, workholding and control functions for your intended operation. Turning–milling capability does not by itself establish simultaneous five-axis machining or automatic workpiece loading.
Read the operating limits separately
Axis travel, swing diameter and spindle bore describe different geometric limits; none alone confirms that the part, fixture and tools fit with the required clearances. Finished-part tolerance depends on the material, tools, cutting conditions and agreed inspection method. Your representative confirms the machining plan and responsibilities for delivery, installation, training and support.
Talk to your representative
Start with the part or operation you want to discuss. Selecting a model and providing a drawing are optional for a first inquiry. Add dimensions, material grade, quantity and critical tolerances if known. Your representative confirms the formal configuration, delivery arrangements and quotation directly; confidential drawings can be exchanged through an agreed channel after contact.
Questions before choosing this machine
Does the machining diameter guarantee that my part will fit?
No. Check the complete part, fixture, tools and clearances. Swing, machining diameter, length and axis travel describe different limits.
What main spindle speed will be supplied?
Ask your representative to confirm the main spindle configuration for the proposed order. The driven-tool speed is a separate value and must not be used as the main spindle speed.
Does turning–milling mean simultaneous five-axis machining?
No. Confirm the axis arrangement, control functions, tool access and required operations for the specific configuration.
Can I assume a particular material or automatic loading is supported?
No. Discuss the material grade, part geometry, cutting plan and production rate. Any robot, loading device, interface and guarding require separate confirmation.
Do I need a model choice or drawing before contacting you?
No. Describe the part or operation first. A model and drawing are optional; your representative identifies the details needed and confirms the formal configuration, delivery and quotation directly.
